Dams Follow International Rules.
Dammen follows the international rules. These expand on the American rules on the following points:
1) Selling backwards is allowed (but moving is only allowed ahead)
2) A dam may move or beat in different subjects in all directions ... (like the queen on a chessboard)
3) The board is enlarged (10x10)
This version of Dammen is the most popular worldwide and is mainly played in Western and Eastern European countries, Russia, the Netherlands, France, Switzerland and French-speaking African countries.
